Why can’t I move past a section in the registration or employee portal?

Hey CT Friends!  Sometimes, you may have a customer calling in who can’t save or move past a certain part of the registration or employee section.  Often this occurs because the customer has added special characters in a description or comment field.  We have certain precautionary rules in our system to keep hackers away from your information.  When they system sees special characters, it assumes that someone is trying to hack into our data.  Here are some examples of special characters:

@ # $ % ^ & * ( ) + — < >

If you receive a call from a customer who can’t move past a certain point online, login to the site admin and check if they have any of these (or a combination of these) special characters.
