While the statement descriptor for ACH payments should be the same as the descriptor set for credit card payments in the connected account’s settings, we can’t guarantee that customers will see that descriptor on their ACH payments. Many banks will change the descriptor, and some banks simply do not support descriptors on ACH payments. Unfortunately, the actual descriptor assigned to any payment is up to the customer’s bank.
