Definition
A request code is used to invite someone to join a group registration. (Request code is also used in another context to invite a roommate.) Group leaders can create registrations for their groups before they know who is attending. These anonymous registrations can then be filled later, either by the group leader directly or by invitation through a request code. The leader will generate a code that is sent to the invited person who then enters it during the registration process to claim the registration. Please note that this is not actually a new registration; that’s been taken care of by the group leader. A request code essentially lets a person fill in information on an existing registration.
