How do I set a Report Category Owner?

Hello friends!  CircuiTree Web reporting has a great new feature:  you can now assign a “Report Category Owner”.  This user is the person your organization has assigned to be responsible for that category (ex. Accounting or Inventory category reports can each have different owners.).  CircuiTree has no business rules in place for these owners; it’s simply a “for your information” field and you can monitor it as you wish.  We recommend checking with the owner before requesting a modification for a specific report.

Here’s how it works:

1.  In the report section on CircuiTree Web, highlight a report and select “Edit Details”.


2.  In the report details, you will see a field called “Category Owner”.  Beside the field, you can click “Edit Owner for ___ reports and exports”.


3.  A pop-up will appear where you can edit the category owner via a drop-down list of users.
