Open a registration that has a credit balance and go to Actions > Issue Refund
- Enter the amount to refund.
- Refund Method is determined by Payment Method, click Edit to change to a different method if needed. Note: you will only be able to refund to credit card up to the amount paid by the credit card. You cannot issue refunds to a credit card not tied to past payment (exception for Cancelled/Expired cards).
- Check box to send Refund Notification Email [Manage > Automated Emails > Electronic Refund Notification].
