What is a Group?

Definition

A group is a collection of people in the CircuiTree system who can create registrations and itineraries, make donations, reserve lodging or other resources, and make payments. A group exists in its own right with individual members associated with it (and can technically have no members in it.) People can play one of two roles in a group: administrator (who can manage the group in all aspects, including group membership and registrations) or financial contact (who can make payments and receive financial statements.) A family is a special case of a group that has additional relationships and registration types associated with it.
