Definition

An allocation is the association of a resource with a particular event or event division. That will ensure that the resource is available to attendees of that event. You can allocate a specific quantity of a resource for an event or used the Shared option to make it available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Examples

• 20 (out of possible 40) canoes allocated to Summer Camp Week 1, Boys
• 20 (out of possible 40) canoes allocated to Summer Camp Week 1, Girls
• Shared resource for bicycles (50 total) allocated to Summer Camp Week 1, available for both boys and girls but in no particular proportion
• Boys’ cabin associated with Summer Camp Week 1, Boys
