Welcome to the New Circuitree Experience

We’re excited to introduce the new Circuitree interface, designed to make navigation more intuitive, event creation more streamlined, and searching more powerful.

This guide will walk you through what’s new and how to get started.

Turning On the New Experience

To enable the new interface:

  1. Click the drop-down menu in the top navigation.
  2. Select Turn on New Experience.
  3. You will be automatically logged out.
  4. Log back in to access the updated interface.

How to Confirm You’re in the New Experience

Once you log back in, you’ll notice:

  • Updated client color styling
  • A refreshed navigation layout

These visual updates indicate that you are using the new experience.

What’s New

1. Improved Left-Hand Navigation

The left-hand navigation menu has been redesigned for a more intuitive experience.

What’s Changed:

  • Items are now grouped logically (e.g., Customers together, Events together).
  • It’s easier to locate related functions without jumping between sections.
  • Settings are now conveniently located at the bottom of the navigation menu.

Benefit:

You’ll spend less time searching for features and more time getting work done.

2. New Event Creation Wizard

Creating events is now simpler and more structured with the new Event Wizard.

How to Create an Event:

  1. Navigate to Events.
  2. Click Create Event.
  3. The Event Wizard will guide you step-by-step through:
    • Event Details
    • Descriptions
    • Divisions
    • Charges
    • Transportation
    • And more

Why This Matters:

  • Ensures no important steps are missed
  • Guides you through a complete event setup
  • Creates consistency across events

The wizard is designed to make event creation more efficient and accurate.

3. Combined Search & History Bar

Previously, Circuitree had:

  • A History bar on the left
  • A Search bar on the right

These have now been combined into one streamlined tool.

How It Works:

  • Click inside the Search bar
  • Your recent history will appear
  • You can:
    • Open items
    • Mark favorites
    • Open in a new window
    • Remove items from history

Enhanced Search Capabilities

Search is now more powerful than before.

You can search for:

  • People
  • Entity/Event IDs
  • Specific system areas (e.g., Transportation)

Example:

Previously, you couldn’t directly search for modules, such as Transportation.
Now, you can:

  1. Type Transportation into the search bar.
  2. Select the result.
  3. You’ll be taken directly to the Transportation window.

This expanded search functionality makes navigating the system significantly faster.

What Has Stayed the Same

While the interface has been modernized, we’ve intentionally kept many familiar elements in place.

  • Many screens retain their familiar left-hand pane layout
  • Core workflows remain consistent
  • Functionality you rely on is still there—just easier to access
